1. Introduction
VIAL TRACKER LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Vial Tracker mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our App.
By using Vial Tracker, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.
Vial Tracker is a health and wellness tracking tool intended for informational and organizational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
When you create an account and use Vial Tracker, you may provide the following information:
- Account information: Your name and Apple ID (when using Sign in with Apple)
- Profile information: First name, height, and starting body weight
- Protocol data: Compounds, dosages, schedules, and administration routes you log
- Injection logs: Date, time, dose amount, and injection site for each logged injection
- Weight logs: Body weight entries over time
- Symptom logs: Symptoms and side effects you choose to log
- Bloodwork uploads: Lab result documents or images you upload for AI analysis
- AI Coach conversations: Questions and responses within the AI Coach feature
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers
- App usage data: Features used, screens visited, and session duration for app improvement purposes
- Crash reports: Technical error logs to help us fix bugs and improve stability
2.3 Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect your precise GPS location
- We do not access your camera, microphone, or contacts unless you explicitly grant permission for a specific feature
- We do not collect financial or payment information directly — all purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Vial Tracker App and all its features
- To personalize your experience, including displaying your name and tracking your protocols
- To power the AI Coach and Bloodwork AI features by processing your inputs
- To send push notifications for dose reminders you have enabled
- To improve the App through analysis of usage patterns and crash reports
- To communicate with you about your account, support requests, or important App updates
- To comply with legal obligations
4. Health Data
Vial Tracker handles sensitive health-related information including medication protocols, dosages, injection logs, body weight, symptoms, and bloodwork results. We treat this data with the highest level of care.
- Your health data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database with industry-standard encryption
- Your health data is never sold to third parties
- Your health data is never used for advertising or marketing purposes
- Your health data is never shared with insurance companies, employers, or government agencies except as required by law
- Bloodwork documents you upload are processed by AI for analysis and stored securely in your account. They are not shared with or sold to any third party
Important: Vial Tracker is not a covered entity under HIPAA. The App is a personal wellness tracking tool and does not constitute a medical record system. Please consult a qualified healthcare provider for all medical decisions.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored using Supabase, which provides:
- Encryption at rest and in transit using industry-standard TLS/SSL protocols
- Secure cloud infrastructure hosted in the United States
- Regular security audits and monitoring
While we implement strong security measures, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but we are committed to protecting your data using commercially reasonable means.
6. Sign in with Apple
Vial Tracker uses Sign in with Apple as the primary authentication method. When you sign in with Apple:
- Apple authenticates your identity and provides us with a unique user identifier
- You may choose to share or hide your email address — if you hide it, Apple provides a private relay email address
- We only receive the information Apple chooses to share with us based on your privacy settings
- Apple's privacy policy governs how Apple handles your information during authentication
7. Third-Party Services
Vial Tracker uses the following third-party services to operate:
- Supabase: Database and authentication infrastructure — supabase.com/privacy
- Apple App Store: App distribution and in-app purchase processing — apple.com/legal/privacy
- Anthropic (Claude AI): Powers the AI Coach and Bloodwork AI features — anthropic.com/privacy
These services have their own privacy policies governing their use of your information. We recommend reviewing their policies.
8. Push Notifications
With your permission, Vial Tracker sends push notifications for dose reminders and logging prompts. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in your iPhone Settings under Vial Tracker. We do not send marketing or promotional push notifications without your explicit consent.
9. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:
- Your personal information and health logs will be permanently deleted within 30 days
- Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for product improvement purposes
- Backup copies may persist for up to 90 days before being fully purged
10. Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access: You can view all your logged data within the App at any time
- Correction: You can edit or update your information within the App
- Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at leo@vialtracker.app
- Data portability: You can request an export of your data by contacting us
- Opt out of notifications: You can disable push notifications in your iPhone Settings at any time
11. Children's Privacy
Vial Tracker is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately. 12. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and share
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Opt out of the sale of your personal information — we do not sell personal information
